    Ein sehr schönes und spannendes Buch, ich konnte kaum aufhören zu lesen.
    Die Fantasy-Welt und ihre Bewohner sind gut ausgedacht und dazu ein Plot der deutlich besser ist als manche andere Fantasy-Stories. Die Trennlinie zwischen Gut und Böse verläuft nicht so eindeutig wie andere Autoren den Leser glauben lassen. Protagonist Finnwald lernt auf seiner Reise nicht nur viele Leute und Landen kennen, sondern auch wie er seine arkane Begabung anwenden kann und er muss entscheidend auf welcher Seite er stehen möchte. Und ebensowenig wie Gut und Böse sind das Schicksal der tausend Lande und die Prophezeiung eindeutig und vorherbestimmt.

    Ich könnte jetzt noch weiterschreiben, weil ich selten einen so guten Fantasy-Roman gelesen habe, aber: lest doch besser selbst. Ihr werdet es nicht bereuen.

    Ich lese recht viel, aber eigentlich nie Fantasyromane. Trotzdem fiel es mir nicht schwer mich auf diese sehr ideenreiche Geschichte rund um Finnwald einzulassen. Ich mochte besonders die vielfältigen, einzigartigen Eigenschaften der Charaktere. Außerdem gefielen mir die Darstellung der Freunde Finnwalds und die Dynamik innerhalb der Gruppe sehr gut. Ich freue mich auf den zweiten Teil!
